Personally i think that claymore has to be the ultimate anime of a warrior woman. Its truly a fantastic tale. it's about a young woman named claire who hunts demonic creatures known as yoma. these creatures rape/kill and destroy innocent men and women and take over there lives. she is sworn to rid the world of these very creatures because of the atrocities they have commit to others as well as herself. it's a tale of vengeance. love. heart ache and a never ending bond of friendship. i urge all fans of anime and chicks kicking butt to check it out.

I'm now in the process of watching this, though it's a bit of a process to extract the subs from the MKV file, create a hard-subbed version, then convert that into format my iPod can handle, so we can watch on TV - I stoically refuse to watch anything longer than a YouTube video on my 'puter... [Though I am looking at getting a Boxee box, which would make things roughly two billion times easier!] So far, I've been impressed, though we are only five episodes in to date, so don't expect a review this month!
