Interpol agent CK Long (Sammo Hung) busted a billion-dollar drug deal fifteen years ago. The cartel has avenged itself by hiring Madame Rose's organization of assassins to kill his entire family. Long himself survives and believes his young daughter is still alive. In fact, for these fifteen years, the girl has been kidnapped by Madame Rose, brainwashed and trained into beautiful, sexy killer Phoenix (Jennifer Tse).
Phoenix has now become the top-ranked killer in Madame Rose's organization. She is skilled in combat and always completes her missions. Thanks to her band of killers Madame Rose has expanded her criminal organization and now assigns missions in many parts of the world. CK Long has never imagined that he would one day become the target of his own daughter's mission.
I screencapped the images from the official site. That's all the characters they had, but Jiang Lu Xia ("Bad Blood") is also in this. Maybe only a cameo, but the actress playing Madame Rose isn't listed either.

Looks like 'Late this year', is about all I could find. Definitely keen on this one, having loved both the predecessors.

Someone sent me a link to the poster for the film on Facebook, which got me digging through to find out if there'd been any more word on it. Looks now to be getting a release next month: July 12 in Malaysia, maybe a little later in Hong Kong. Will keep an ear open for reviews.

I'm watching right now. Put it on pause long enough to come here and rave about it.
If you came looking for cheesecake, you'll find some, but not the triple helping of the previous movie. You might be surprised at how much screen time is spent on guys, after the last one's Bikini Island-meets-The Hunger Games approach.
But some of these fights are wowing me. There's really creative settings, and good use of them. There's such a distinct feel between the different characters' styles of combat, both in terms of the visuals and the choreography. It's been a while since I've had this much fun watching fight scenes.
Also it doesn't take murder as lightly as its predecessor, so I don't have that queasy feeling throughout.
