It seems like the
Underworld series will be returning to its roots, after a part three which largely ditched Kate Beckinsale in favor of an "origins" story with Michael Sheen (which, I must admit, we enjoyed much more than expected). The following synopsis for part 4
has surfaced:
Quote:
After being held in a coma-like state for fifteen years, vampire Selene (Kate Beckinsale) learns that she has a fourteen-year-old vampire/Lycan hybrid daughter, Nissa, and when she finds her they must stop BioCom from creating super Lycans that will kill them all.
It's to be directed by Swedes Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein, and is scheduled for a 3D release in January 2012. Marlind directed
Storm, which we have lurking in the unwatched pile, but has had some decent reviews. However. all we need to see is lots of Beckinsale kicking butt, and we'll be there [just not in 3D!].
